2026-27 Senior Tournament
Tournament Rules

1. Eligibility: This tournament is open to all members of the Las Cruces USBC, sanctioned for the 2026-27 season, who have reached their 50th birthday as of the opening date of this tournament, (October 16, 2026). Local membership is $9 and state is $4 and can be purchased with entry.
2. Entering average: Participants must use their highest book average from the 2025-26 season, (including Summer 2026). If no 2025-26 average is available, then a current average of 15 games or more by October 16, 2026 may be used if a league sheet is presented for verification. All others will bowl scratch.
3. Event: This tournament is a USBC sanctioned event. Any rule not covered herein or in the 2026-27 USBC Playing Rules shall be resolved by the Tournament Manager. USBC Rules 319d and 319e do not apply.
4. Prizes and awards: Prize funds will be returned 100% in each event. The prize ratio will be at least 1 in 5 entries in each event. No substitutes may enter All Events unless they bowl the original entrant’s Doubles and Singles.
5. Age Classes/Divisions:
Team: Division I - 640 and above; Division II – 639 and less
Doubles: Division I - 320 and above; Division II – 319 and below
Singles by age: Division I - 50–65; Division II - 66+
6. Handicap: Handicap for all classes/divisions will be based on 100% of a 225 average.
7. Dress code and conduct: The Las Cruces USBC Board of Directors respectfully request that all bowlers wear suitable bowling attire and display appropriate sportsmanship and courtesy during this tournament.
8. Protests and Appeals: Rule 329 will apply.
9. Check in: Each bowler must check in at least ½ hour prior to squad time. Substitutes must be put in place within that time limit. No line-up changes are permitted.
10. Participation: Doubles and singles are separate events and constitute all events. You do not have to bowl doubles in order to bowl singles. Entrants may participate in any event multiple times, subject to the following conditions: Not more than two (2) entrants shall cash together more than once, (USBC rule 315). The first Doubles and Singles scores will count as the All Events score.

 Doubles: The entrant may only cash once with the same partner. Singles: Based on age as of tournament date. The entrant may only cash once. PLEASE LIST ADDITIONAL TEAM, DOUBLES AND SINGLES ON SEPARATE FORMS. One check per entry form will be accepted.
